How to Use Email to Text 4

How to Use KidsEmail to Text 2

Did you know that you can get e-mail on your phone? This is a great way for kids to be able to “text” their parents messages and stay in contact without having a cell phone.

All you need to know is your cell phone’s e-mail address, we’ll explain how to figure that out so your kids can e-mail you via text.

Most carriers have “SMS gateways” which take email messages from the Internet and deliver them to their customers cell phones at text messages. You will need to know the recipients phone number as well as what carrier they are using.

For example 2085551212@vtext.com

To set this up on your Kids Email account, under the Parent Control login, under Add New Contacts add the Cell Phone Email address as shown above and then the child can start “texting” who you approve. If you have any questions on how to set that up, you can always e-mail us at support@kidsemail.org
