Don’t Wait Until It is Too Late

When a child goes missing, one of the first things parents and the police do is go through the child’s emails and social networking accounts. I wonder why the parents waited until the child was missing to know about their online activity.

We all want to give our children the room to grow and sometimes that includes allowing them privacy. The problem is parents don’t realize that Internet safety is not a privacy issue in some respects. You are not reading their personal thoughts like they would write in a diary. You are making sure they remember the old adage “don’t talk to strangers” while they are online. You would stop them from talking to a stranger on the street, right?

Our mission is to make sure that kids are safe online. We know that is your missionĀ  as well. We look forward to working with you to protect our children.
