Cyberbullying

Bullies are not just on the playground. They can now follow your child wherever they go as long as your child is online. Cyberbulling is defined as online messages meant to demean, threaten or cause emotional distress to another. These messages can be emails or instant messages in a chat room. Some bullies will post on a person’s Facebook wall or MySpace page.
